ZVEZDA heavy disk harrow

Levels the surface actively, shreds and mixes plant residues with soil; works in granular fertilizer; prepares soil for sowing.

It is intended for:

loosening of raw compacted soil of different composition;
cutting of perennial grass formation;
shredding of crop residues;
pruning of weed crop residues after major crops harvesting;
active leveling of soil surface, shredding and mixing of plant residues with soil;
soil preparation for sowing;
working-in of fertilizers.

Pressure of 130/150 kg on a disk provides maximum penetration.
Due to wheel couplings, the frame travel across a rough terrain is more stable, horizontal movement on uneven surfaces is smooth, without wheels jumping on hummocks.
The harrow is completed with: smooth and cut spherical disks 6 mm thick and 460, 560 and 610 mm in diameter. Matched disk spacing eliminates ridges..

Reinforced frame is made of longitudinal and lateral beams for greater reliability and lateral rigidity.

The working mode can be promptly changed to transport mode. The operation can be performed by one machine operator.
The depth of soil cultivation may be selected by shifting a pin in the frame holes.
Bearings on self-aligning pins, have a lubrication system and triple protection against dust and dirt.
